Grand opening given to golf club project
PHB were delighted to have been invited to the grand opening of their latest completed project at the Piltdown Golf Club in East Sussex.
Works included a new front extension and the remodelling of the existing building to allow for brand new female changing room facilities.
The event, which took place on Sunday 20th November, was well supported by the clubs members and the new facilities earned rave reviews from all who attended the opening.
Golf Club Chairman, Charles Thacker spoke to the members prior to the official opening and said: "PHB have delivered a project to the highest possible standards which is a credit to all connected with their company, from senior management to the quality tradesmen that undertook the construction phase of the project."
All of the clubs members involved with the project have commented that not only have PHB delivered a first class product, they have also demonstrated from the design stage to the completion of the work that PHB are a company that deliver their company statement of 'building better by working together'.
PHB Director Stephen Payton said: "Ensuring that the architect and contract administrator's [Mr David Fry] project design concept was constructed to the highest possible standards has been a great achievement for everybody connected with PHB.
"Not only does the Golf Club have a new focal point in the new front extension, which has been constructed from the finest French oak, but the new changing facilities we have constructed has ensured our company will be remembered by the members of the Golf club as a company which has improved their facilities to a standard befitting to the existing building."
