Case Study

This project saw the refurbishment of The Bowley Close Rehabilitation Centre, which is a purpose designed building with the specialist staffing, equipment and facilities necessary for the assessment and treatment of people with physical disabilities. The works included the requirement to install site specific and specialist facilities and finishes to comply with the requirements of the specialist medical centre. A dustcovent system for extracting dust from working areas during the construction of prosthetic limbs was incorporated, with a specialist waterproof lighting system. Decoration works were completed using a Watco floor and wall anti bacterial paint and a bespoke floor drainage system. In addition to these works, a full electrical installation was also undertaken to the prosthetics limb technical laboratory - internal redecorations to consultation rooms administration rooms security upgrades and the replacement of specialist safety flooring and the replacement of the centres windows and doors. Working to a stringent specification and equipment schedule required for a specialist medical centre whist ensuring the client received value for money. Completed ahead of schedule within the budgetary costs of the client.
