We invited PHB to tender on a very awkward job where the previous contractor had gone into liquidation and from the outset their 'can-do' attitude and careful attention to every detail was evident. Negotiations were conducted in a professional and cooperative fashion and the team at PHB, mindful of our brief to keep costs down, were very good at sourcing the best deals on materials and specification items without compromising the quality of the final product which was excellent. Labour levels were always impressively high and progress rapid.

Summary:

Project Background:

PHB undertook the design and construction of a five storey development of 15 social housing units to a high specification on behalf of the Genesis Housing Group.

The development was awarded an EcoHomes Rating of ‘Very Good’ and achieved ‘Secure By Design’ status, which endorses PHB’s commitment to achieving government environmental legislation.

The Challenge:

To achieve a quality finished project which met with the design criteria and to meet the employers requirements.

The overall project was a success and completed on time and within budget.
